Privacy Policy
Last revised: 2 November 2026
This notice explains how personal data is handled when you visit this Coopers Games studio website (the “Website”) contact us by email or use the test-access request form. It covers this Website only. It does not cover playing our games. Each game, including any closed test, has its own privacy information, which applies separately; this Website notice does not replace it.
Who is responsible
The data controller for the Website is UTTER MADNESS GROWTH TECHNOLOGIES LTD, operating under the Coopers Games brand. It is a company registered in Cyprus under registration number HE 465279, with its registered office at Sokratous, Villa 13, Cydonia Gardens, Potamos Germasogeias, 4046 Limassol, Cyprus.
For privacy questions or requests about your personal data, contact maxim@babichev.me.
Information used to provide the Website
When your browser requests a page or file, the hosting and delivery infrastructure processes technical request information. This can include your IP address, the time of the request, the address requested, browser and device information, referring page and information needed to detect errors or harmful traffic.
We use this information to deliver the Website, maintain its availability, diagnose faults and protect it from abuse. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable studio information website, balanced against visitors' rights. Where we must process information to meet a legal requirement, the basis is that legal obligation.
The Website does not offer user accounts, newsletter registration, purchases or game downloads. Its only form is the closed-test access request form described below. We do not use Website visitor information to build advertising profiles or for targeted advertising, and we do not sell it or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Website measurement provided by our hosting platform
The Website is built and hosted on the Lovable platform. Our own Website code does not add advertising pixels, session recording, embedded third-party media or optional analytics tools. When the Website is published, the hosting platform loads its own scripts from the Website's address and may record aggregated visit information, such as pages viewed, referrers, device type and approximate location, so that we can see basic traffic statistics. The platform also sets technical cookies needed to deliver and protect the Website, including a cookie used to route requests to the current version of the site and a security cookie from its content delivery network used to tell people apart from automated traffic.
We use this information only to understand how the Website is used overall and to keep it running safely, based on our legitimate interest in operating the Website. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our own Website code, including the test-access request form, does not set cookies or use browser storage. The technical cookies described above are set by the hosting and delivery infrastructure to deliver and protect the Website. Your browser may also keep ordinary cached copies of Website files. You can manage cookies, cache and storage through your browser settings.
If we add optional tracking or further features, we will update this notice and obtain consent where required before those technologies are used. Reading this notice or browsing the Website does not itself give consent to optional processing.
When you email us
If you write to maxim@babichev.me, for example with a studio enquiry, a publishing conversation or a request for closed-test access, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, the content of your message and any other details you choose to send.
We use this information to read and reply to your message and, for test-access requests, to consider and arrange access. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries or, where you ask us to take steps before entering into an arrangement with you, taking those steps at your request. Emailing us does not sign you up for marketing.
Please do not send sensitive information, such as health data or identity documents, by email. Messages are accessible only to people who need them to handle your enquiry. We delete enquiry emails when the enquiry is closed and they are no longer needed, unless we must keep them longer to meet a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
When you request closed-test access through the Website
Each game preview on the Website includes a form to request an invitation to that game's closed test. When you send it, we store the game you selected, your email address, your name and short message if you choose to add them, the time of the request, a reference number and the status of the request (for example new, invited, declined or closed). Only your email address is required. We do not ask for sensitive information; please do not include it in the message.
We use these details only to review your request and respond about test access, including sending an invitation if we can offer one. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before you join a test or, where that does not apply, our legitimate interest in responding to requests we receive. Sending a request does not sign you up for marketing and does not guarantee an invitation. Joining a test is governed by that game's own terms and privacy information.
Requests are stored in a private database provided through our hosting platform (Lovable Cloud). They are not publicly visible; only people at the studio who handle test access can view them. To protect the form from abuse, our server checks recent requests from the same email address before saving a new one. The form does not set cookies or use browser storage.
We keep a request while it is open and for as long as needed to manage the related closed test, then delete it, unless we must keep it longer to meet a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You can ask us to delete your request at any time by writing to maxim@babichev.me with your email address and, if you have it, your reference number.
Service providers and disclosures
We use the Lovable platform and the infrastructure providers it relies on, including a content delivery and security network, to host, deliver and protect the Website, its database provider (through Lovable Cloud) to store test-access requests, and an email service provider to receive and send email. These providers process information as needed for the services they supply, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
We may disclose limited information where required by law or where necessary and lawful to investigate misuse, protect rights or respond to a security incident.
Where information is processed
Our hosting and delivery providers operate internationally, so Website request information may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for information about these safeguards at maxim@babichev.me.
How long information is kept
Technical request and security information is kept by our hosting providers for as long as needed to deliver, measure and protect the Website, under their retention practices. Enquiry emails and test-access requests are kept as described above. We do not keep information longer than necessary for the purposes described here and applicable legal requirements.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies and the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send requests to maxim@babichev.me. We may ask for information reasonably needed to confirm your identity and locate relevant data. We do not require you to create an account to make a request. Under the GDPR, we normally respond within one month; permitted extensions and exceptions may apply, and we will explain them where relevant.
You may also complain to a competent data protection authority, including the authority in the EU country where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred. You may contact the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection: dataprotection.gov.cy.
Children
The Website is a studio information site and does not provide child accounts or ask children to submit personal information. If you believe information about a child has been provided to us, contact maxim@babichev.me. Age suitability and privacy information for each game is provided for that game separately.
External links and security
If you follow an external link, the destination's operator is responsible for its own practices. We use reasonable measures appropriate to the Website and the information handled, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Updates and contact
We will update this page when our practices change and show the revision date above. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where required.
